i came into industrial design with a visual arts background intrigued by the many different applications design had to offer. through the course of my formal education in industrial design i realized that in corporate settings quality is often sacrificed to hit a target price. i feel that quality goes hand in hand with aesthetics and the general design. i wouldn't buy a table with only three legs when it needs four just because it's a good deal or it looks cool, and i don't think you should either. over the years i have grown tired of the socialist notions that designers should be trying to change the world and make everyone happy by providing high quality designs at affordable prices. I don't believe that this is possible, and if it were, I would still want something different and unique. in the end you get what you pay for. furniture is meant to be art, unique, an heirloom, something to talk about. i will provide you with exactly that and you will be delighted.
